Family Moments - Getting to Know Us

Updated: Aug 21, 2021

Hello Everyone and welcome to our new blog! Here at Crazy Craft Obsession we like to get to know our customers and think it is important for our customers to get to know us. To help this process we decided to create a blog to help with inspiration, product knowledge and most importantly forming friendships.

This business is run predominantly by me (Cassandra) and my partner (Jacques) helps me with the technical stuff and from going crazy. We both work full time jobs and opened this business to help spread the paper crafting love in Australia, since it is sometimes hard to get some of the American brands. All of the layouts posted on our Youtube Channel, Instagram and here on our blog are made by me, however I am trying to talk Jacques into having a go and creating too (LOL!). I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years and have seen the products come in and out and back in to fashion again and again - which is why as a crafter, I think we struggle to de-stash. Jacques and I have six (yes six!) lovely animals that live with us, two of which are featured in this layout. Jack and Simba are our two beautiful dogs and we have 4 cats, who I am sure you will see and get to know in future blog posts. This layout was made during a Vicki Boutin - Friday Night Live session that Vicki hosts on her Facebook and Youtube channel. If you have not seen these, I highly suggest that you check them out as they are amazing. The background is made using the Vicki Boutin Foundations Paper and the circle is drawn using her Gel Crayons with a little water. Once that was dry I went in with some of Vicki's Silver CreativeFX glaze through the Prima Gothic stencil. The embellishments used are mainly Cocoa Vanilla Studio bits and pieces I had in my stash. The Butterflies (which I love and use on everything!) are from the Bright & Beautiful 12 x 12 cardstock from the Midnight collection. If you have any questions regarding this process, please feel free to reach out to us and ask. I promise were friendly and do not bite. xx
